Sundaram Ramaswamy the founder of Aerospace Engineers. Aerospace Engineers is located at Mallur – Salem District – Tamil Nadu. He was Greatly  inspired by the words of Our Former President DR A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. He took him as his Role Model. And Got his Great Success. He was born on Dharmapuri District – Tamil Nadu. During his childhood his entire family shifted to Salem. His Father worked in the Department of Forestry. He has 5 Siblings.

 

He Completed his schooling in Government Higher Secondary School Ayothiyapattinam – Salem. Then he Completed his U.G in M.I.T – Chennai. There  studied B.E Rubber Technology. After Completed his College he joined in Prestige company. There his first month salary is Rs.350.There he learnt many Techniques.

During that time, He went to many places like Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai to hear Kalam’s Motivational Speech. After heared kalam’s Especially kalam called our countries youngsters to start  Our own manufacture for Military. Kalam was the chief head of Defence and Research Development Organisation   on that time kalam encouraged engineers to start up own  manufacturing  the spare parts for Military. After kalam’s motivation Sundaram Ramaswamy started his Self-Employment. He is became an Entrepreneur. 

He went to many banks to apply loan but no one is ready to provide him loan. But he never give up and started his own company which is “ Aerospace Engineers”. For the first time he got dealership with BHEL. He has a chance to produce spare parts for BHEL. 

 

Then he manufactured first spare part  for Shukrayaan-1. It was triled by  First Indian Space Traveler Rakesh Sharma. Rakesh Sharma announced sundaram’s cockpit Seal is best in Quality. Then he produces  nearly 13,000 spare parts. 

Then he produces many spare parts  for Dhruva, Tejas & Akash Missile. Not only military but also produces spare parts for ISRO. And also tied up with America’s Airbus Airlines and also with Britain’s Rolls Royce.

FOD FREE RUBBER PROCESSING SHOP

“FOD Free Rubber Product Manufacturing Shop” is established at our Salem plant towards improving the quality of rubber product manufacturing to world class level as well as meeting NADCAP requirements, all the features are added into this manufacturing shop.New facility was inaugurated by Shri. Surinder S Kainth,Director- Global Transition,M/s. Pratt & Whitney,  USA.

Elastomeric Engineers was established in the year 1988 to cater the Industrial Oil Fields and Power Sectors in the Non-Metallic components. Ever since the beginning, Elastomeric Engineers has been concentrating in innovating Non-Metallic parts as an opportunity to decrease the Imports of parts done in India for components and assembly.

Elastomeric Engineers started its venture into the Aviation Sector with the encouragement received from Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s speech in a Defence Seminar conducted in Bengaluru at 1991 as he had highlighted the needs for Non- Metallic parts in the Aerospace Defence Areas.

Post the seminar, we spent 3 – 4 years in learning and understanding the Aviation standards and specifications, Airworthiness Procedure and Expectations and finally developed its first Canopy Seal successfully in 1997 – 98 for Kiran Aircraft which was CEMILAC and DRDO approved.

Elastomeric Engineers is now proud in saying that all military aircrafts in the Indian Sky runs with the Seals from us. In addition to the Canopy Seal, Elastomeric Engineers is also into various other Non- Metallic parts in Aviation and Defence sector.

Aerospace Engineers was established in the year 2000 to specifically cater the growing needs of Aviation, Space, Missiles and CIVIL Aircraft requirements.

The first variety of parts manufactured by Aerospace Engineers were Flameproof Seals, Gaskets, Bellows, Hoses, etc. Aerospace Engineers then entered in manufacturing steel braided and un-braided hose assemblies for Hydraulic Fuel Hot Air lines with suitable end fittings. Aerospace Engineers have developed more than about 300 such assemblies for Aircrafts, Helicopters and Satellites.

Following these were the development and manufacturing of Lubrication Oil Pumps, Various Valves.

With this experience, Aerospace Engineers started manufacturing composite components for Missiles and entered into the manufacturing for civil aircrafts in 2008 and has been serving the civil aviation industry since then.

Aerospace Engineers are very proud in saying that we have manufactured more than 20000 different parts and are always open to new challenging opportunities.

Aerospace Engineers specialises in various areas such as in the Precision machining and manufacturing of Rubber Components, Composites, Electro Mechanical LRU’s, Missiles sub-assemblies, etc to list a few.

The surface Treatment facilities available inhouse at Aerospace Engineers is approved by DRDO, ISRO and are working towards to get the Nadcap certification.

With the increase in the requirement for more manufacturing, Aerospace Engineers are expanding their Capability at SIPCOT, Hosur and are in initial plan phase to create an additional facility in Hyderabad.

The combined motto of both companies is to be 100% self- reliant in the Aviation Sector.

 

 

Metallic Products

We supply for every major engine programs in which not less than 1200 components are developed by Aerospace Engineers in both Metallic and Non-metallic components. We have long-term supply agreements mainly for engine projects like Su30, Su33, Shakthi, Artouste, Garrett, Orpheus, Dart, Adour, PTAE through Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., Bangalore and Sukhoi Engine Division, Koraput.

More than 100 hose assemblies are approved by Centre of Military Airworthiness Certification (CEMILAC) for use on Helicopters and Aircrafts.
